I draw inspiration from the world around us. I love learning how complex and beautiful life on earth is, how interdependent and connected. I particularly love the connection between humans and plants, the ways in which we have and can benefit from one another. From wood, fiber, dyes, ink, paper and food to the oxygen we breathe, forest bathing, national parks and of course the outdoor spaces with which we surround our homes. Humans and plants are in constant relationship. My work is to see that the needs of each are met.
"When we see the land as a community to which we belong we begin to use it with love and respect" ~ Aldo Leopold
